NEW SERVICE - BLOOD TEST 'SIT AND WAIT' APPOINTMENTS

(Please note: Your blood test MUST have been authorised by the doctor)

Did you know appointments are available for blood tests without the need to book in advance?

Simply turn up at the surgery (Monday to Friday) between 08.00 - 09.30am and your blood test will be taken that morning in our 'Sit and Wait' Clinic.

Whilst we endeavour to avoid delays these may on occasions be unavoidable but we will advise you of the current waiting time on arrival.

(This service is a pilot and is subject to change according to the needs of the service - information correct as of 9th May 2018)

Travel Vaccinations

global air travel

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you will need to complete the attached Travel Risk Assessment Form and hand this to reception at least eight weeks before you travel. It is important to do this as early as possible to ensure we are able to offer you an appointment in time and have the appropriate vaccinations in stock.

Travel Risk Assessment Form

Your form will then be given to a Nurse who will review what vaccinations you will need and contact you to book an appointment.

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge.  This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.  Please click on the link below to see our Private Travel Charges.
